DIFFERENT FROM ITS SISTER TOWNS ON THE EAST END, Sag Harbor has a unique positioning on the Sound that gives it a maritime flair and quaintness that hasn’t faded despite the growing outpour of urbanites over the years. Overlooking the harbor, it boasts some of the best restaurants, shops and our favorite Long Island juice bar (not to mention, the best iced coffee we’ve ever had.) If that’s not enough, with a quick ferry ride from town, you’re on Shelter Island, famous for Andre Balazs’ Cote D’Azur-inspired hotel Sunset Beach. But we’ll save that for another Wander Guide. For now, enjoy our favorite haunts in Sag Harbor.
