HERE AT BONBERI, WE ARE DEVOUT BELIEVERS THAT SELF-CARE IS IMPORTANT PART OF ANY HEALTH REGIMEN. And there is nothing more beneficial to your health and well-being than a hot detoxifying bath. Soaking in water not only relieves muscles, but eases stress and can rejuvenate you on a cellular level. Below, we’ve detailed our favorite detoxifying baths, each of which targets different symptoms and will leave you feeling lighter and brighter. Tip: The hotter the bath, the more intense the detoxification will be.

FOR DEBLOATING…
Combine 1 cup of apple cider vinegar with 2 cups of kosher or iodized salt in a hot bath. Soak for 30 minutes. The vinegar will balance your pH levels, boost lymphatic system and aid weight loss while the salt with debloat any extra water weight you are holding.

FOR RELAXATION…
Combine 2 cups of epsom salts and 5 drops of lavender oil warm temperature bath. Soak for 30-45 minutes. The magnesium in the epsom salts will relax tense muscles and the essential oils will sooth nerves.

FOR SOFTER SKIN…
Combine 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of coconut oil in warm bath. Soak for 30-45 minutes. Towel dry skin and generously apply coconut oil all over body. Baking soda will soothe dry, itchy skin and the coconut oil will hydrate the skin.

FOR DEEP CELLULAR CLEANSING…
Combine 1 16 oz bottle (or 1/2 of 32 oz bottle) of hydrogen peroxide with an entire package of iodized salt into a hot bath. Soak for 20-30 minutes. Hydrogen peroxide is known to kill any pathogens in the body while the salt pulls toxins from the tissues.
