We are always looking for a great healthy toddler snack. Almond butter toast is one of my son Jude’s favorite snacks. Because of the sprouted grain bread we use and the raw almond butter, it’s much easier to digest than roasted nut butters and plain bread. We added in some low-sugar, super ripe banana and citrus fruits, which pair well with these light grains and raw nuts. Plus they’re super cute so who can resist!

Ingredients:

2 slices of sprouted grain toast (Ezekial is my favorite)

1 tablespoon of raw almond butter

Various berries, bananas and/or citrus fruits for decorating

Bake the sprouted grain toast at 350 for 2-3 minutes so it’s soft and not hard. Spread raw nut butter on both slices. Decorate bread to your liking! Bring in your little one to join in on the fun!
