New York: En Japanese, Omen, Momofuku Restaurants, Romans in Fort Greene, Marlow and Sons, Diner. Maison Premier Oyster Bar in Brooklyn. I try to plan my artists visits in Brooklyn around my meals so I can hit up my favorite spots.
Miami: Michael’s Genuine, La Sandwicherie, Hakkasan, Go-Go’s which has amazing empanadas and salads, it’s an out of the way gem. River Seafood and Oyster Bar. Yardbird, which I love to go to and order all the side dishes.
New York: Lucky Jack’s on Allen Street, it could be 3 of us or 10 of us, but at some point in the night that’s where my friends and I meet up.
Miami: Tobacco Road, which is an old dive bar and was actually the first bar ever in Miami. It’s really classic. Soho House is a nice alternative to the Miami nightlife scene. Late night I like The Deuce.
Olive oil, I always have an avocado in the house, almond milk, a cheese board, a wooden cutting board and a plastic cutting board. A carving knife, which I only use on Thanksgiving. A Caja China cooking box.
