STAYING HOME means getting creative in the kitchen, but what I’ve found is more than experimenting, the tried-and-true simple yet delicious recipes always win. Case in point: my smoothie game for me and the kiddos. Between getting them up and dressed (yes we’re still doing that!) and preparing for Zoom preschool, we need something quick yet nutrient-packed before we begin the day. Enter: the immunity packed strawberry banana oat smoothie for the kids, blended with @planetoat our new dairy-free discovery, super rich and creamy, no artificial preservatives, flavors or colorings and naturally sweet. (I also love that it’s super accessible, which is incredibly important during these uncertain times. Not only is it available at most major supermarkets but my local health shop carries it too, win win.) For me, I’m loving quick ice-y frappe style coffee and all I need to do is throw a few ingredients in the blender and we are good to go! Or good to not go. You get what I mean.

Bonberi Jr. Strawberry Banana Oat Shake
1 cup Planet Oat Vanilla Oat Milk
1 cup of fresh or frozen organic strawberries
1-2 frozen ripe bananas, chopped
Juice of 1 organic orange
1 handful of fresh spinach
Optional: 1 tablespoon of maple syrup to sweeten
Blend and enjoy!


Bonberi Mama Iced Coffee Oat Frappe
1 cup of cold brewed iced coffee
1 cup Planet Oat Extra Creamy Oat Milk
Handful of ice cubes or 1 frozen ripe banana
Dash of cinnamon
Optional: Stevia or maple syrup to sweeten
Blend and enjoy!
