3-4 ripe plantains (you want them to be yellow with black spots, green plantains won’t caramelize and don’t taste as sweet)
2-3 tablespoons avocado oil
Sea salt to taste
Optional: 1 teaspoon coconut sugar (the sweet plantains don’t need it but if you want them extra sticky and sweet this will do the trick)

Preheat oven to 375. Slice plantains in slightly thicker than half inch rounds, place flat on a parchment lined baking sheet, not touching and not overlapping. Drizzle avocado oil and massage well w hands so evenly coated. Bake for 15-20 minutes until slightly golden browned on there bottom side. Using tongs flip each round and bake for another 15 minutes. Serve immediately (they’ll harden as time goes by) or serve in bowl cover led with a tight fitting lid. Enjoy!
